The Road to Palm Springs: #GirlGang Edition

As I set out on the #girlgang trip of the year, and bring summer to a final close, I thought…what are the essentials needed to get us ready for a weekend of fun in the sun in Palm Springs? I made a mental grocery list with the help of the newly painted Katherine Bernhardt “Fruit Salad” mural in DTLA, packed up our trusty Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, and put on a classic oversized H&M jersey to gear up and head out on the journey. Even though the desert bodes a classic bohemian feel, my streetwear look was the perfect get-up (along with my new Freyrs Sunnies) to introduce a little street to the calm desert vibe. Myself, photographer Emily Malan, and writer Jane Claire Hervey turned on some tunes, grabbed the necessary coffee, and hit the road.
