Trading the LA sun for Sundance Film Festival: Volume 1
This week we trade sunny LA for a different dose of sun…Sundance Film Festival.
From the snowy slopes of Park City, Utah, to the mass amount of movie-goers on Main Street, Sundance Film Festival gathers a collective crew of creatives, celebrities and just about anyone ready to have a good ol’ time. Any excuse for a vacation right?
Time to throw in the t-shirts and layer up for a week of fashion heavy weather.
Mixing prints is an all time favorite. When the hellish months of winter hit, the thought of transitioning out of sweatpants to wear anything remotely acceptable to leave the house in is daunting. Mixing prints is a great way to add some crazy and color back into this bleak winter world.
A vintage poncho is the perfect POP of color, adding in a cool textile to give the look a certain flair. A camouflage patterned coat (this one was a steal in the H&M men’s section for $15) is an all time classic to give some warmth, but can also be thrown on as a statement piece. To finish off any winter-weather outfit, a solid pair of Cat Footwear boots (these the Colorado Style) give a lady-like outfit a rugged, manly vibe that looks sleek on the streets, but give you that strength to chop down a tree.
